Coffee Price Indicators: The ICO Benchmarks
The latest ICO coffee price indicators, composite and group benchmarks in US cents per pound, updated monthly, as orientation for buyers sourcing Indonesian coffee.
Green coffee does not trade at a single price. The most widely used reference for the global market is the set of indicator prices published every month by the International Coffee Organization, the ICO. This page tracks the latest ICO indicators as orientation for buyers sourcing Indonesian coffee. They are global market benchmarks, not IndoCasa offer prices, and they are updated monthly when the ICO publishes its Coffee Market Report.

What these indicators mean
The ICO Composite Indicator Price, the I-CIP, is a weighted average across the main market groups and the single most cited gauge of where the coffee market sits. Beneath it sit four group indicators: Colombian Milds and Other Milds, both washed arabicas; Brazilian Naturals, the natural arabicas; and Robustas. For Indonesian coffee, the Robustas indicator is the closest reference for the country's robusta, which is the majority of its output, while the milds and naturals give context for the arabica side. All figures are quoted in US cents per pound of green coffee.
How to read them for sourcing
These are monthly benchmark averages. They are useful for understanding the direction and the rough level of the market. They are not a live quote you can transact on. A real offer price depends on origin, grade, processing, certification, logistics, and the day's futures and differentials, all of which move faster than a monthly average. Use the indicators to frame a conversation about where the market sits. For a firm price on a specific Indonesian lot, Contact Us.
